Allen J. Bahe
Allen began his financial career at Commonwealth Bank and Trust, and later joined the investments and insurance firm of FSAB. Allen served as the director of the company's financial division, as well as the head of the life insurance department.
Allen's primary focus is portfolio management, risk planning, and group retirement plans. He is currently a candidate for CFP Board's certification.
Allen serves on the board of the local historic property, The Farnsley-Kaufman House, and is a volunteer for Pandora Productions.
Charles R.M. Farnsley, CFP®
Principal and CCO
Charlie began his financial career with an independent investments and insurance firm, serving as a financial advisor, as well as the firm's CFO for more than ten years.
The accounting background has proven to be beneficial when assisting clients with retirement, tax, and financial planning, which are his primary areas of expertise.
Charlie is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Kentuckiana. He is also active in the community and sits on the boards of the Cabbage Patch Settlement House, and the Fund for the Arts, and is a member of the Downtown Rotary Club.
James B. Metzger, Jr., CFA, JD
Chief Investment Officer
James earned a JD from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2009 before practicing business litigation for several years at the largest Louisville firm. He has also launched multiple local businesses in various sectors and continues to manage a thoroughbred racing syndicate.
Since switching his focus to finance, James has become a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder. James’ primary interest is in equity analysis, where his legal background, as well as hands-on business experience, supplement his financial credentials to provide a holistic outlook to evaluating businesses.
James has a very deliberate approach to financial analysis, doing all his own research, however time-consuming. He attributes his patient approach to his youth as a nationally ranked chess player, often competing in six-hour long games. He has continued chess as a hobby, recently achieving a sectional win in the 2016 US Open.
